Cut down on excess calories by not adding additional sugar in foods. Sugars added to food can increase calories which are not needed if the person has enough calories from the whole day’s diet. A good option is to use honey instead of sugar in tea, confectioneries, and other items where sweetness is needed.
Not having fats is not a good idea; rather having right fats is important. MUFA, PUFA are necessary for the daily functioning of the body. Even saturated fats are needed in correct amounts. A perfect ratio of SFA: MUFA: PUFA is needed to carry out metabolism and organ functioning and to not create any undue burden on the heart, blood vessels, and the body in general.
